Lesson 3 reflection

Reflection: Assessing Prior Knowledge and Planning Instruction
·                     How will prior knowledge and experience be assessed?
We will start the lesson by asking the students what the word moral meant to them.
            Reflection: Designing Instruction
·                     Why are you using the instructional methods you have described?
Starting with a Prezi will help the students focus on the lesson. The writing portion of the lesson is very structured to help the students stay on task. The students creating their own story outline and then making a cartoon will help them apply their knowledge.
Reflection: Planning Assessment
  • How does the assessment demonstrate that the students have been successful in learning the content?
The assessment has the students read different stories and state the moral of the story. If the students can state the moral or lesson to the stories, then they have a good understanding of the lesson.
Reflection: How does your lesson meet each of the ISTE NETs Standards?
  • How does your lesson meet Standard 2: Provide Digital-Age Learning Experiences and Assessments?

The students are learning through a creating their own cartoon and video. The students also reinforce their learning through play.
