Reflection of Lesson Plan 1

I have found that I enjoy writing and creating lesson plans. There are so many ideas out there already that it's just a matter of piecing them together to create something that works for my students and me. This is a lesson that I am teaching this coming week in my second-grade classroom. Often I use worksheets or photocopied games to play and practice. It was fun looking for a way to work technology into my lesson. Powerpoints are usually the technology I use because it's the easiest for me. They are useful but not as engaging as other technology. I found a few games that I could use, but most of them were for individual payers. The game could be used either way. I do think the game I chose will reinforce the students learning and be fun for them.

Lesson 3

Hour Long Technology Integrated Lesson Plan The purpose of this lesson is to introduce fables and fairytales from diverse cultures. We started our lesson with a video to hook our students. Then we will instruct with a prezi that introduces the content. After, the students will fill in their fable paper and make a toontastic with a partner. Finally the students will present their toontastic video to the class as the formative assessment. The students will then take a summative assessment at the end of the lesson.
