1.     Instructional Decisions/Teaching (InTask Standard # 9):  o      What went well and what didn't go well during the implementation of your lesson?  I think the lesson went well. Everyone seemed to enjoy creating their own cartoon. o      How well was the alignment of objectives and standards maintained?  They were well aligned. The primary objective was for students to understand the what the moral of a fable is and to create their own fable with a moral.      2.     Mechanics : o      What technologies did I use (for the teacher and the learner)?  As the teacher we used Prezi to present the lesson. Hour Long Technology Integrated Lesson Plan The purpose of this lesson is to introduce fables and fairytales from diverse cultures. We started our lesson with a video to hook our students. Then we will instruct with a prezi that introduces the content. After, the students will fill in their fable paper and make a toontastic with a partner. Finally the students will present their toontastic video to the class as the formative assessment. The students will then take a summative assessment at the end of the lesson. Reflection: Assessing Prior Knowledge and Planning Instruction ·                       How will prior knowledge and experience be assessed? We will start the lesson by asking the students what the word moral meant to them.             Reflection: Designing Instruction ·                       Why are you using the instructional methods you have described? Everyone seemed interested in the video. We enjoyed playing the game on the touchscreen.  o      How well was the alignment of objectives and standards maintained? They were well aligned. Digital Citizenship Reflection

I used the website mindomo . In what learning environments would the technology resource I presented be appropriate?     This could be used in second grade and up. Maybe in first towards the end of the year. This could be used to map out writing assignments, science and social studies research projects and book reports.  In what learning environments would the technology resource I presented NOT be appropriate?  I would say math would hard to use it. How might it be modified to be appropriate?   The  students could use it to take notes in a math class or study math definitions.  What do you now know that needs to be considered when using technology in the classroom?   The first thing to consider is it appropriate for the lesson and the age group. Another thing to consider is, does the technology enhance the lesson or is it a distraction from the standard?
